The Castelão, a Portuguese red wine grape, always surprised me because the capacity to make complex and structured wines, keeping the elegance and freshness. All these characteristics remembers me the wines from Burgundy (Borgonha, in Portuguese), and for that reason I challenged Dirk Niepoort, a Burgundy wine expert and enthusiastic, to make with me this Castelão “Sem Vergonha” (shameless). The result will surprise you!
