2017/11Wine Advocate - Robert Parker
The 2015 Tinto Aventura is a blend of 40% each of Touriga Nacional and Aragonez, with the rest a field bend from higher altitudes in Portalegre. It is unoaked and comes in at 13.5% alcohol. The idea here is to make a fresh red—and it sure is. It is a classic summer red, aromatic, elegant, floral and bursting with flavor. All the fruit is supported by acidity and that balance of flavor and freshness makes it simply irresistible. The structure supports the fruit well, not just with acidity but some moderate tannic pop. I'm not sure this is profound or likely to turn into anything much more, but it should age reasonably well and it is so racy now that it is worth leaning up on this summer-styled red. The 2015 vintage is perfect for a wine like this. Drink it a little cool. There were just 15,000 bottles produced.

After fifteen years working as a winemaker I decided to embrace the ADVENTURE to become a wine producer. A fascinating ADVENTURE and challenge that I intend to live as pleasurably as possible. I just hope you'll have as much fun as I did making them.
