To share moments, ideas and experiences with other oenologists or people connected to wines is something that I have always liked and encouraged. So, I decided to create the brand Sidecar.

Each year I will challenge a friend to produce wine in my wine cellar, in Mora.

They will decide how to interpret this region’s fantastic vineyards.... by driving the motorcycle!

For the fourth edition of the Sidecar I invited the most prestigious journalist in Brazil and a longtime friend: Jorge Lucki.

"The objective from the beginning was to preserve minerality and an intense and deep character that this old vineyard offers, adding some creamy texture. That took us to get a used oak vat to use on the vinification, brought especially from Alsace. The climatic conditions of the year, associated with the unique location of the Serra de São Mamede, contributed to the vivacity and elegance of this 2017 Sidecar."
